The Scout RX3 impressed us in our test on how well it was able to clean baking powder near corners and baseboards. Its suction of 2,500 Pa was less powerful than other robots but it was able to move quickly and was very quiet. It didn't mop and its clean pad was difficult to attach. It also wasn't able to handle dried-on dirt.

It's also unreliable when it comes navigating its way back to the charging station after an outing Other robots can trace a previous path or even follow a wall until they get to their home however, the RX3 simply bumbles around until it finally gives up and then sends a message about failure to your phone.
Another issue we had was with its clever features, particularly the mapping function and digital keep-out zones. It was effective in keeping our shoes and furniture legs away however it could easily get hanging up on cables, socks and carpets. We decided not to include the Scout RX3 on our Best Buy list. The Scout RX3 offers a good price and impressive performance. It's worth a look as an alternative to uprights that are traditionally used.
